Job summary

• High School Diploma or GED with 1–3 months related experience and/or training.
• Basic Mathematical Skills.
• Basic Computer Skills: ability to perform basic computer tasks and operate common computer programs.
• Minimum Professional Proficiency: ability to participate in conversations and read general items.
• Intermediate Reasoning: apply common sense to carry out instructions that may be furnished in written, oral, or diagram form.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the scheduling of inbound shipments of components and raw materials.
• Maintain the daily schedule of inbound and outbound vehicles.
• Act as a liaison between the Warehouse and all other departments in matters pertaining to transportation and logistics.
• Coordinate with the waste hauler for pickup of waste and recyclables. Coordinate with vendors to schedule maintenance on forklifts.
• Gather and track warehouse related metrics.
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure the proper segregation of recyclables.
• Act as a liaison between Receiving and Planning to ensure components are received as necessary to keep with the production schedule.
• Assist in the duties of "Training" for the Warehouse department.
• Assist in writing or updating departmental work practices and company SOP's. Performs other duties as assigned by Manager/Supervisor.
• This position may require overtime and/or weekend work.
• Knowledge of and adherence to all PCI, cGMP, and GCP policies, procedures, rules.
• Attendance to work is an essential function of this position.
