Job summary

Ferguson Fort Payne Distribution Center is seeking 2nd Shift Order Selectors to operate warehouse equipment and process inbound shipments safely. The role emphasizes accuracy, efficiency, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment.

Starting pay is $21.00 per hour with full-time benefits. Eligible for a 401(k) with match, PTO, health and safety programs, and PIT certification training as part of the role.

Qualifications

• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Ability to operate powered industrial equipment Safely in a warehouse.
• Experience with RF scanners or voice systems is a plus.
• Commitment to safety policies and PPE requirements.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA and Ferguson procedures.
• Ensure inbound shipments are received and registered correctly.
• Sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations.
• Perform daily tasks using RF scanners, voice systems, and labor management tools.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and organize pallets and materials.
