Job summary

Ferguson is currently seeking 2nd Shift Order Selectors for our Fort Payne, AL distribution center. This role is ideal for individuals with warehouse, shipping, or receiving experience who take pride in safe, accurate, and dependable work.

Schedule is Monday-Friday, 3pm-11:30pm with starting pay of $21.00 per hour and comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), paid time off, and more. Join a team focused on safety, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Overtime may be required based on business demands.
• Prior warehouse, distribution, shipping, or receiving experience preferred.
• Experience with RF scanners or voice systems is a plus.
• Able to operate in a fast-paced, safety-conscious environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate powered industrial equipment per OSHA and Ferguson procedures.
• Receive inbound shipments and register them correctly.
• Sort, stage, store, and transport product to assigned locations.
• Use RF scanners, voice systems, and labor management systems daily.
• Build and label pallets to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Maintain product quality and follow SOPs for your area.
• Communicate with teammates and support a team-focused workspace.
