Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a 2nd Shift Industrial Cable Cutter and Material Handler to join our warehouse team. This full-time position runs Monday–Friday, noon to 8pm, with hourly pay ranging from $26.00 to $31.00, plus benefits and incentives.

You will coil, spool, cut, and label wire for customer orders using specialized machinery, restock inventory, adhere to safety standards, and work with RF devices.

Qualifications

• Ability to operate RF devices and warehouse technology.
• Strong basic math skills for unit conversions and measurements.
• High attention to detail in picking and cutting wire.
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods during shifts.
• Team collaboration to meet production goals.

Responsibilities

• Review customer orders to determine reel size and wire type.
• Measure and cut wire using cutting machinery.
• Unload/reload reels on wire machines and restock inventory.
• Follow SOPs and safety regulations in a warehouse environment.
