Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Receiving Warehouse Material Handler for a full-time 8am–5pm schedule. Pay ranges from $21.00 to $26.00 per hour, with a comprehensive benefits package.

You will help move products from the warehouse to customers, ensure accurate picks, and unload/load shipments with a collaborative team. Training for forklift operation is provided, and you’ll join a supportive, safety-conscious environment.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects up to 50 lbs regularly, up to 75 lbs with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for much of the shift.
• Basic math skills (add/subtract).
• Willingness to learn forklift and handheld scanning device (training provided).
• Ability to work in warehouse temperatures.
• Authorized to work in the United States without visa sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/material safely.
• Count, check and record items entering or leaving the warehouse.
• Use scanning devices to track inventory levels.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products organized and undamaged.
• Follow warehouse safety procedures.
