Job summary

Viking Electric in Minneapolis, MN is seeking a Warehouse Material Handler for a full-time night shift (9pm-5am, Sun-Thu). You will load/unload trucks, pick/pack orders, use scanning devices, and help ensure accurate inventory and on-time delivery. Training for forklift and equipment will be provided.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to lift, push, and pull objects weighing up to 50 lbs. regularly, up to 75 lbs. with assistance.
• Ability to stand and walk for much of your shift.
• Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers).
• Willingness to learn to operate equipment like a forklift and handheld scanning device (training provided).
• Authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future.

Responsibilities

• Load and unload trucks and move boxes/materials safely using available equipment.
• Count, check and record items coming in or shipped out.
• Use handheld device to scan barcodes/labels for inventory tracking.
• Assemble, package, label, stack, palletize and route material for delivery or storage.
• Help keep products organized and damage-free.
• Follow procedures to keep the warehouse safe and secure.
