Formación

• Minimum Experience and Training Requirements: One year of experience as a Utility Plant Operator 1 (Commonwealth job title or equivalent Federal Government job title, as determined by the Office of Administration); or One year of semi-skilled work experience in the operation, maintenance, or repair of industrial, commercial, or institutional utility plant systems and related equipment; or an equivalent combination of experience and training that includes six months of semi-skilled work experience in the operation, maintenance, or repair of industrial, commercial, or institutional utility plant systems and related equipment.

Responsabilidades

• Boiler Operation: Operate boilers and auxiliary equipment to produce steam and maintain heat and hot water for the hospital
• Shift Leadership: Direct staff during assigned shifts, interpret work assignments, and demonstrate proper methods
• System Monitoring: Check equipment and system performance, report abnormal conditions, and keep accurate records
• Water Treatment: Test and treat boiler water daily to protect equipment and ensure proper function
• Maintenance Support: Assist with repairs, complete preventive maintenance tasks, and support less senior employees
• Safety Enforcement: Follow and enforce all required safety policies, procedures, and regulations in the Power House
