City of Noblesville is hiring for the Utilities Operator - Maintenance in the Utilities Department for the 2nd shift, 1:00 p.m. to 11:30 p.m., Monday through Thursday. The role involves monitoring treatment plant equipment, recording data, and assisting with daily operations.

You will perform repairs on motors, filters, aerators, pumps, troubleshoot I&C, and operate vehicles including sludge dewatering equipment. A Class B CDL with air brake endorsement is required within six months of hire.

Formación

• Possession of a valid Class B commercial driver’s license with air brake endorsement within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Monitor performance of treatment plant equipment, including checking/adjusting/calibrating control equipment and recording data.
• Assist with daily operations and inspection of process equipment.
• Maintain the cleanliness of department buildings.
• Repair/replace motors, filters, aerators, heaters, switches, and pumps.
• Troubleshoot Instrumentation and Controls (I&C).
• Maintain and operate various vehicles, including sludge dewatering equipment.
• Monitor and maintain lift stations; maintain plant and lift station grounds.
