Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• Mechanical experience preferred and relevant to tool setting.

Responsibilities

• Maintain Tool Crib inventory and records; notify ordering when tooling needs replenishment.
• Audit tooling for accuracy; inspect and print notes to ensure precision; perform annual inventory.
• Manage CribMaster and CribMaster perishable tooling; assign users and monitor usage.
• Track tool life and durability; compare vendor-sourced usage to determine best practices.
• Handle 8D reports with suppliers; pull 2D drawings for reordering tooling.
• Sort scrap tooling and ensure proper recycling or rework as needed.
• Support 5S housekeeping in storage areas; ensure FIFO at operation levels.
• Communicate effectively in writing and verbally with internal/external stakeholders.
