Job summary

Accumold LLC is seeking a Toolroom Supervisor for 2nd shift in Ankeny, IA. You will lead the Mold Maintenance and New Tooling Build teams and coordinate tasks to ensure production-ready molds for customers. This role requires strong leadership and the ability to manage schedules with minimal supervision.

The ideal candidate has a tool & die background, moldmaking experience, and proficiency with CAD tools (Mastercam, AutoCAD, SolidWorks). Occasional travel and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• High school education coursework or GED required.
• Two-year tool & die degree plus four years experience in tooling or moldmaking preferred.
• Demonstrated experience using mold-making tools, set up and run of all mold making equipment.
• Ability to design and build a mold and shoot first article parts independently.
• Knowledge of Windows CAD programs such as Mastercam, AutoCAD and SolidWorks.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all aspects of Accumold Mold Maintenance and the New Tooling Build teams.
• Coordinate assignments of the New Tooling Teams and Mold Maintenance team.
• Work to achieve on time project delivery and production ready molds for Accumold customers.
• Provide leadership to the Toolroom and fill in for Toolroom Manager as needed.
• Assist in hiring, orientating, mentoring, and training of new employees in the Tool Room. Approves PTO and Timecards when needed.
• Recommend and coordinate major purchases of capital equipment for budget and capital expenditure plans.
