Job summary

Accumold Corp in Ankeny, IA is seeking a Toolroom Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead the toolroom, coordinate new tooling builds and mold maintenance, and ensure on-time delivery of production-ready molds.

This exempt, full-time role reports to the Toolroom Manager, requires hands-on leadership, CAD tooling familiarity, and a strong focus on safety and quality. A background in moldmaking and tool design is preferred, with ability to mentor staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; two-year tool & die degree preferred.
• Experience in tooling or moldmaking with ability to read designs and drawings.
• Familiarity with mold-making tools and CAD/CAM software.

Responsibilities

• Lead and direct all aspects of toolroom for molding and new tooling builds.
• Coordinate assignments of New Tooling Teams and Mold Maintenance team.
• Ensure on-time project delivery and production-ready molds for customers.
• Provide leadership and mentor to Toolroom staff; fill in for Toolroom Manager as needed.
• Promote safety, environmental and ergonomic initiatives.
