Qualifications

• High school education coursework or GED required.
• Two-year technical degree in manufacturing or industrial technology preferred or equivalent.
• Knowledge of Windows based programs.
• Ability to read, comprehend, and utilize instructions and short correspondence with professionals.
• Ability to read and understand complicated designs and drawings.
• Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.

Responsibilities

• Assists in maintenance of injection molding machines and other manufacturing equipment to ensure timely production of quality plastic parts.
• Troubleshoots equipment to prevent repairs or breakdowns of production/tooling or building equipment; performs routine preventive maintenance.
• Communicates needed equipment or supplies to maintenance staff to facilitate repairs.
• Works with production staff and maintenance teams to complete tasks; may include welding, fabricating, or rebuilding equipment.
• Basic wiring and troubleshooting of electrical projects.
• Repairs motors, pumps, pneumatic systems, and basic metal fabrication.
• Performs other duties or general labor to support production or office personnel.
