Job summary

Vault Manufacturing in Spartanburg, SC is seeking a Maintenance Tooling Technician to design, build and repair tooling and fixtures in support of production operations. The role supports maintenance technicians with mechanical repairs across the plant.

Required qualifications include an Associate’s degree or equivalent, a Millwright or Machinist Journeyman license, blueprint reading skills, and experience with CNC, grinding, and various machining processes.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or equivalent required.
• Millwright or Machinist Journeyman license or in progress.
• Blueprint reading and welding experience (MIG/TIG).

Responsibilities

• Design, build and repair tools and fixtures.
• Operate all tool room equipment.
• Inspect and test tool room machinery and document maintenance activities.
• Diagnose machine issues by listening to sounds and discussing operation variations with supervisors.
• Dismantle defective machines and install new or repaired parts.
• Clean, lubricate and calibrate machining equipment.
• Support preventative maintenance program for production and facility equipment.
