Job summary

Shawsheen Coating & Converting is hiring full-time Machine Operators for 2nd shift in Andover, MA. You will operate textile winding or slitting equipment, monitor product quality, complete production documentation, and help keep production running safely and efficiently.

Base pay is $18-$23 per hour. The 2nd shift includes a 10% differential, bringing pay to $19.80-$25.30 per hour. Training may occur on 1st shift for ~45-60 days before moving to 2nd shift.

Qualifications

• Machine operation, manufacturing, or textile experience is a plus, but not required.
• Dependable, safety-minded, and able to maintain consistent attendance.
• Able to communicate and work effectively with a team in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Willing and able to work 10-hour shifts, overtime as needed, and commute to Andover facility.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Load and operate textile winding or slitting machines.
• Monitor equipment and product quality to help meet daily production goals.
• Follow work instructions, production schedules, and established operating procedures.
• Complete required production documentation accurately and on time.
• Report equipment, production, quality, or safety issues to your supervisor.
• Follow safety and environmental procedures and wear required PPE.
