Job summary

Collins Aerospace is seeking a Test Technician to join our Mission Systems team in Cedar Rapids. You will perform fault isolation and verification on test units, read complex schematics, and work with engineers to analyze data trends.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED; relevant experience considered in lieu of diploma.
• Must pass ETA-I CETa exam for certification.
• Ability to read complex electronic schematics and follow instructions.

Responsibilities

• Perform testing using DMM, oscilloscope, frequency generators, spectrum analyzer and related gear.
• Collect, document, and report test results.
• Evaluate results and assist engineers with data trends and improvements.
• Read complex schematics, analyze circuits, and troubleshoot issues.
• Lift/carry equipment up to 25 lbs and work independently or in a team.
• Train on 1st shift for 4+ weeks before 2nd shift start.
