Job summary

Southern Tier Logistics is seeking a Shift Team Leader for our Horseheads, NY location on the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM). Compensation ranges from $20.00 to $26.45 per hour.

Responsibilities

• Communicate with co-workers and direct supervision to receive instructions and coordinate activities.
• Organize daily shipping and receiving activity
• Overall cleanliness of the work area
• Must have aptitude to use and operate a computer including basic email functions as well as operate a scanning device
• Supervise Warehouse Associates/Forklift Operators
• Review associate timecards. Perform associate evaluations and handle associate discipline when needed
• Perform functions within our Customers data base (SAP), this includes completions and transfers
• Physical presence on a set and predictable schedule
