Job summary

Ryder System, Inc. is hiring a Supply Chain Operations Associate for 2nd shift in Arlington, TX. The role focuses on ensuring on-time material availability, coordinating with suppliers, and maintaining accurate inventory in MGO.

The position is salaried non-exempt, with overtime opportunities and a schedule that may require occasional Saturdays. Comprehensive benefits start after 30 days.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma/GED required.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred.
• 1 year or more administrative experience.
• 1 year or more relevant supply chain/ops experience.
• Knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) Intermediate.
• Knowledge of transportation management Intermediate.
• Knowledge of material flow as it relates to manufacturing processes Intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Follow up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery for production needs.
• Serve as main contact for suppliers and manage ship schedules and containment plans.
• Track critical parts and implement containment to avoid downtime.
• Coordinate alternate sources or spot buys when needed.
• Monitor and arrange truck loads to ensure material coverage at lowest cost.
• Review buffers and manage inventory adjustments and exceptions in MGO.
