Job summary

Qualifications

• HS Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 1+ year in administrative experience preferred.
• 1+ year in relevant experience preferred.
• Knowledge of MGO (GM's MRP system) intermediate.
• Knowledge of transportation management intermediate.
• Knowledge of material flow as it relates to manufacturing processes intermediate.
• Receiving experience is preferred.
• Warehouse/manufacturing experience is preferred.
• Bilingual ability in English and Spanish is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Follow up all purchased parts to ensure shipment and on-time delivery to support production requirements.
• Serve as main point of contact for all suppliers and coordinate ship schedules/back-to-schedule containment plans when needed.
• Track critical parts and develop containment plans to prevent interruptions or downtime on the manufacturing line.
• Coordinate alternative sources of material and requests for spot buys if necessary.
• Maintain accurate inventory levels in MGO and post adjustments after investigations.
