Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing is seeking a 2nd shift team member in Walker, MI to inspect and install steel coils for production. You will receive and store raw materials, and move them using a forklift or overhead crane while maintaining accurate inventory.

Ideal candidates have a high school diploma, forklift and crane experience, and good English communication. Stamping industry experience is a plus; ESOP participation is available.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Forklift experience required.
• Overhead crane experience required.
• Experience in the stamping industry desired.
• Ability to read, write, speak, and understand English well enough to follow work instructions and safety procedures.

Responsibilities

• Inspect and install steel coils used for production.
• Receive incoming shipments of raw materials and store properly.
• Distribute raw materials using a forklift or overhead crane.
• Keep track of material inventory.
• Support plant flow and meet customer needs.
