Job summary

Challenge Manufacturing in Walker, MI is seeking a Material Handler, Shipping for our 2nd shift (2:00pm–10:00pm, M–F). This role ensures on-time delivery and maintains accurate inventory. You will operate a forklift, load/unload materials, weigh items, and support plant flow while meeting safety requirements.

Candidates should have a High School diploma or GED, the ability to stand for long periods, and basic computer skills. Prior material handling experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older and able to stand 8–10 hours.
• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience with forklifts and material handling preferred.

Responsibilities

• Observe and comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
• Move materials using forklifts and lifting devices to designated areas.
• Unload, stack, weigh, and inventory materials as needed.
• Support plant flow and ensure timely delivery of materials.
