Job summary

Accelevation LLC, located in Miamisburg, Ohio, is seeking a Shift Supervisor, Receiving - 2nd Shift to lead daily inbound material receipt, ensure safety and quality, and optimize dock performance. The role requires coordinating with multiple teams to ensure timely material availability for production and growth.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in receiving/logistics, strong ERP experience, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in receiving or logistics operations.
• Ability to lead a team and drive safety, quality, and throughput.
• Proficient with ERP systems and shipping documentation.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily receiving operations focusing on safety, quality, and throughput.
• Own inbound material receipt and verify against orders.
• 100% verify incoming materials with purchase orders and packing slips.
• Document and resolve discrepancies with suppliers and internal teams.
• Inspect, label, and transfer materials to inventory or use locations.
• Reduce dock-to-stock time while maintaining accuracy.
• Enforce safety policies and warehouse procedures.
• Monitor KPIs like receipt accuracy, dock efficiency, and availability.
• Coordinate with Inventory, Buying, Planning, Quality, and Production.
• Train and coach receiving team on standard work and safety.
• Model behaviors aligned with Accelevation’s values.
• Maintain organized receiving areas and accurate material IDs.

Skills

5+ years of experience in receiving/物流

Education

High school diploma or GED

Associate's degree or relevant technical training preferred

Tools

ERP systems (Epicor/SAP/Oracle)
