Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for 2nd shift in Charleston, SC. You will verify and record inbound and outbound items, check bills of lading, and coordinate with the Warehouse Lead.

The role emphasizes accuracy, urgency, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team. Duties include updating the Dock Management System, scheduling appointments, and handling customer discrepancies within 72 hours.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or GED.
• Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail.
• Communication skills.
• Comfortable working independently or as a team.

Responsibilities

• Check bills of lading (BOL) for accuracy.
• Process inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart warehouse.
• Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.
• Check status of special requests, expediting orders where necessary.
• Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.
• Organize “mail slots” with proper paperwork.
• Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments of LTL and FTL.
• Handle and reconcile all customer complaints and discrepancies within 72-hours.
• Update the DMS (Dock Management System) in a timely manner.
• Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
