Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for its 2nd shift (Tuesday–Saturday, 3:30 pm–12:00 am). The role requires verifying BOLs, processing inbound/outbound orders, and coordinating with the Warehouse Lead to ensure smooth shipping and receipt operations.

The candidate must have a high school diploma or GED, strong attention to detail, and the ability to meet deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Check bills of lading (BOL) for accuracy.
• Process inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart the warehouse.
• Coordinate shipping/receiving with Warehouse Lead.
• Track status of special requests and expedite orders when needed.
• Prepare and reconcile shipping/receiving tally documents.
• Organize mail slots with proper paperwork.
• Schedule shipping/receiving appointments for LTL/FTL.
• Resolve customer complaints within 72 hours.
• Update the Dock Management System (DMS) promptly.
• Follow safety procedures for storage and receipt of goods.

POSITION OVERVIEW

A Shipping & Receiving Coordinator verifies and keeps records on incoming and/or outgoing items.

2nd shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Check bills of lading (BOL) for accuracy.

• Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart warehouse.

• Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.

• Check status of special requests, expediting orders where necessary.

• Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.

• Organize “mail slots” with proper paperwork.

• Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments of LTL and FTL.

• Handle and reconcile all customer complaints and discrepancies within 72-hours

• Update the DMS (Dock Management System) in a timely manner.

• Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.

• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills required.

• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.

• High level of attention to detail.

• Communication skills.

• Comfortable working independently or as a team.
