Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics in Walterboro, SC is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for 2nd shift (Tue–Sat, 3:30 pm–12:00 am). You will verify BOLs, process inbound/outbound orders as trucks arrive/depart, and coordinate shipping with the Warehouse Lead.

You will also check special requests, update tally docs, organize mail slots, schedule appointments, and handle customer complaints within 72 hours while maintaining safety procedures and timely DMS updates.

A Shipping & Receiving Coordinator verifies and keeps records on incoming and/or outgoing items.

2nd shift: Tuesday - Saturday, 3:30 pm - 12:00 am

ESSENTIAL FUNTIONS AND BASIC DUTIES

• Check bills of lading (BOL) for accuracy.

• Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart warehouse.

• Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.

• Check status of special requests, expediting orders where necessary.

• Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.

• Organize “mail slots” with proper paperwork.

• Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments of LTL and FTL.

• Handle and reconcile all customer complaints and discrepancies within 72-hours

• Update the DMS (Dock Management System) in a timely manner.

• Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.

• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.

QUALIFICATIONS

• High school graduate or general education degree (GED) from an accredited institution, or an equivalent combination of education and experience

• Basic reading, legible writing and arithmetic skills required.

• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.

• High level of attention to detail.

• Communication skills.

• Comfortable working independently or as a team.
