Job summary

Arcadia Cold Storage and Logistics is seeking a Shipping & Receiving Coordinator for a second shift. You will certify, track, and record incoming and outgoing items, coordinate with Warehouse Lead, and process paperwork as trucks arrive and depart.

Responsibilities include checking bills of lading, scheduling shipments, updating the DMS Dock Management System, and ensuring safety procedures are followed. Strong attention to detail and the ability to work independently or as part of a team are

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Basic reading, writing and arithmetic skills.
• Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
• High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
• Good communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Check bills of lading for accuracy.
• Coordinate shipping and/or receiving operations with Warehouse Lead.
• Fill in shipping and/or receiving tally documents.
• Organize mail slots with proper paperwork.
• Schedule shipping and/or receiving appointments.
• Fold lot stickers as they print for receiving as necessary.
• Apply lot stickers to both front and back of received pallet as necessary.
• Execute all safety procedures and standards regarding the storage and receipt of goods.
• Perform other duties and special projects as needed.
• Process all inbound and outbound orders as trucks arrive and depart warehouse.
• Generate all paperwork/information required for customer work orders including responding to and checking status of special requests, expediting orders where necessary, tracking orders and posting inventory records.
• Communicate between customer and warehouse operations concerning the customer inventory.
• Update the DMS Dock Management System in a timely manner.
