Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Set Up Technician I to support manufacturing by operating and maintaining equipment and processes that deliver top-quality customer service. You will set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment, cycling through programs to obtain first articles across various machines.

Responsibilities include collaborating with technicians, training associates, and upholding safety, quality, and environmental standards. Strong attention to detail and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience or equivalent training.
• Ability to read drawings and schematics and interpret technical data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Demonstrated leadership and mentoring abilities.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to manage interruptions professionally.

Responsibilities

• Operate and maintain production equipment to support manufacturing.
• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to support first article and ongoing production.
• Cycle through proven and unproven programs to obtain first article on multiple machine types.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators; train associates as necessary.
• Adhere to quality, environmental, safety and Milwaukee Tool policies.
