Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is hiring a Set Up Technician I in West Bend, WI. The role supports manufacturing by setting up, adjusting, and troubleshooting CNC equipment, including first article runs, across multiple machines.

You’ll collaborate with technicians to ensure quality and efficiency. The ideal candidate will have a year of experience in a maintenance/technical field, strong problem solving, and the ability to interpret drawings.

Qualifications

• High School or GED required; technical certification preferred.
• Experience or training in maintenance, mechanical, or technical field.
• Comfortable interpreting drawings and schematics; attention to safety and quality.

Responsibilities

• Set up, adjust, and troubleshoot equipment to support production.
• Operate CNC machines and manage first article checks.
• Collaborate with technicians and operators to meet production KPIs.
• Perform preventive maintenance and document inspections.
• Assist with training of associates and support continuous improvement.
• Follow all safety policies and 6S standards.
