Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Set Up Technician I in West Bend, WI to support manufacturing by setting up, adjusting and troubleshooting CNC equipment and automated processes. The role requires 2+ years in maintenance or a related technical field, plus a technical certificate in mechanical/electrical/automation.

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years of maintenance, mechanical, or technical field experience or equivalent training.
High School diploma or GED plus Technical Certification in Mechanical, Electrical, Automation or related program.
Ability to read drawings and schematics; interpret technical data.

Responsibilities

Set up, adjust and troubleshoot equipment including automated operations, controls, robotics and sensors.
Perform preventative maintenance and maintain documentation on schedules.
Investigate equipment issues and participate in root cause analysis; implement corrective actions.
Support training of associates and assist with cross-shift coverage as needed.
Monitor machine cycles to ensure processes run within tolerances and communicate with supervision.
