Job summary

Milwaukee Tool is seeking a Set Up Technician I to support manufacturing by setting up and maintaining CNC equipment, performing tool changes, and running first article checks. A minimum of 1 year of related experience and cross-training across equipment are expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year experience at MT or related job experience.
• Cross-training on equipment in area of support.
• Compliant with safety, quality and policy requirements.

Responsibilities

• Follow safety policies and 6S standards to maintain a safe workspace.
• Set up, adjust and troubleshoot equipment including automated operations, controls, robotics and sensors.
• Review programs on numerical and PLC equipment and adjust offsets; communicate needs to supervision and maintenance.
• Perform preventative maintenance and update schedules; complete routine inspections and documentation.
• Investigate and resolve equipment and quality issues; participate in root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Assist with training associates and support supervisor/lead as needed.
• Support other shifts if necessary and contribute to continuous improvement projects.
