American Wood Fibers, Inc. is seeking a Packaging Machine Operator for the 2nd shift at the Laurinburg, NC facility. The role focuses on safe, efficient production and packaging of wood shavings to meet customer needs.

Responsibilities include operating packaging equipment, adhering to quality standards, and maintaining a clean work area. Candidates should have a high school diploma or GED and be able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Physically able to bend, squat, or stoop.
• Previous mobile equipment and/or forklift experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Attend monthly safety meetings.
• Operate packaging equipment to produce and package materials.
• Assist with clean-up and housekeeping of the work area.
• Support shift supervisor and follow assigned duties.
• Follow quality assurance measures and communicate results.
