American Wood Fibers, Inc. in Jessup, MD is seeking a Millwright/Industrial Maintenance Tech for the 2nd shift to support manufacturing operations. The role focuses on troubleshooting and repairing production equipment to keep lines running safely and efficiently.

The incumbent will perform preventive maintenance, diagnose and repair bearings, motors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and basic welding, while logging work in CMMS. Forklift operation and routine safety adherence are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma.
• 2+ years of related experience in industrial maintenance.
• Mechanical and machinery background with exposure to high-speed equipment.
• Electrical, hydraulics, and pneumatics knowledge.
• Basic welding experience.
• Knowledge of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics.
• Must have personal set of basic tools & be able to work outside when necessary.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate in a safe and efficient manner to troubleshoot and repair equipment.
• Perform scheduled maintenance repairs and emergency repairs of production equipment.
• Set up machinery for scheduled production runs.
• Repair bearings, motors, gearboxes, and power transmission systems.
• Read work orders and service manuals; use CMMS for work logging.
• Safely operate forklift and other warehouse equipment.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the maintenance area.
