American Wood Fibers (AWF) is seeking a Burner Systems Operator for the 2nd shift in Laurinburg, NC. This role operates, sets up, and adjusts all machines in a computer‑controlled manufacturing system to sustain production and quality.

You will monitor process conditions, perform quality controls, record data, and collaborate with supervision to resolve issues while adhering to safety protocols in a high-dust environment.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of operating experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate, set up and adjust machines in a computer‑controlled manufacturing system.
• Monitor instruments to ensure proper production conditions.
• Record operating data and test results.
• Confer with supervisory personnel to report conditions affecting safety, efficiency, or quality.
• Maintain quality assurance measures and implement new procedures as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and use PPE in a high-dust environment.
