Lantech, a global leader in stretch wrapping technology, is seeking a Level 2 Saw Machine Operator on the 2nd shift in Louisville, KY. You will operate a horizontal band saw and a drill press, follow standardized work, and stand 9–10 hours per shift, lifting up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Read a tape measure to 1/16 inch.
• Able to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work overtime as needed.
• Detail-oriented in a fast-paced production environment.
• Willing to train and be certified to operate a Raymond forklift.
• Experience operating a band saw and a drill press preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Legally authorized to work in the U.S.

What Are We Looking For? (Requirements)

We are looking for someone who:

Can accurately read a tape measure to 1/16 inch

Is capable of lifting up to 50 lbs

Is willing and able to work overtime as needed

Is detail-oriented and able to work effectively in a fast-paced production environment

Is willing to train and become certified to operate a Raymond fork truck to move steel

Is customer-focused with a strong commitment to meeting production schedules

Has experience operating a band saw and drill press (strongly preferred)

Has basic mechanical blueprint reading and interpretation skills

Has a high school diploma or equivalent (vocational or trade school training is a plus)

Is legally authorized to work in the U.S.
