As a Machinist at Lantech, you play a critical role in producing high‑precision components that power our industry‑leading equipment. Your skill, attention to detail, and problem‑solving ability directly impact product quality, performance, and customer satisfaction.
As a Machinist, you’ll apply your technical expertise to machine complex parts while maintaining high quality standards.
Key responsibilities include:
Set up and operate CNC lathes, CNC mills, manual lathes, and manual mills.
Machine parts to print using both metric and inch drawings.
Hold and inspect tight tolerances—sometimes less than 0.001 inch.
Produce simple to complex components using a variety of machining equipment.
Utilize precision measuring instruments such as micrometers, bore gauges, indicators, and optical comparators.
Read and interpret detailed blueprints, including GD&T.
Devise creative and unconventional part-holding methods when needed.
Maintain a strong focus on quality, safety, and productivity.
Perform other duties as assigned.
We’re seeking an experienced, dependable machinist who takes pride in precision work and thrives in a team‑oriented environment.
Have 5+ years of experience in the machining trade.
Can independently set up and operate CNC and manual machines.
Are skilled in producing both simple and complex parts to print.
Demonstrate exceptional attention to detail and strong work ethic.
Are comfortable working with tight tolerances and high‑quality standards.
Work effectively within a team environment.
Are dependable and maintain an excellent attendance record.
CNC programming experience.
High school diploma or equivalent required.
Vocational or trade school training is a plus.
