Lantech, the global leader in stretch wrapping technology, is hiring for an Advanced Production Assembler – 1st Shift in Louisville, KY. You’ll set up and tear down machines, stage components, and handle wiring tasks to ensure assemblies meet customer specifications.

Ideal candidates have mechanical and/or electrical assembly experience, read blueprints, and can operate hand/power tools. This role offers competitive pay, benefits, and opportunities for certification and career growth.

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Ability to read and follow standardized work instructions in English
• Ability to read blueprints, drawings, and electrical labels

• Ability to stand for extended periods
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
• Strong teamwork and communication skills
• Good attendance and reliability
• Willingness to obtain Lantech Marklift and Fork Truck certification
• Ability to climb ladders, bend, and work underneath structures
• Strong attention to detail and ability to identify and solve problems
• Commitment to safety and proper use of PPE
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced manufacturing environment

Responsibilities

• Set up and tear down Lantech machines per customer specifications
• Collect and stage components from multiple departments for machine builds
• Run cables and gain exposure to electrical components and systems
• Read and use a tape measure accurately
• Use a variety of hand and power tools
• Push carts and operate cranes for lifting and positioning equipment
• Operate a fork truck and lift loads up to 50 pounds
• Stand for extended periods (9–10 hours per day)
• Follow standardized work instructions to meet Lantech quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete work efficiently and on time
