Job summary

Pure Food Specialties is hiring a sanitation associate to clean plant facilities and equipment using approved chemicals, ensuring GMP-compliant operations and minimal waste. The role includes maintaining facilities across all buildings, operating cleaning equipment, and reporting potential contamination.

Experience in cleaning and the ability to read English labels are required, with weekend availability noted as essential.

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED preferred.
Ability to read labels in English; bilingual preferred.
Some cleaning experience is required.
Attention to detail and physical stamina are essential.

Responsibilities

Provide cleaning to plant facilities using approved chemicals to disinfect surfaces.
Sanitize all components of food production and processing equipment and control waste.
Clean soiled supplies and equipment used in manufacturing processes.
Maintain all buildings per policy; wash walls, ceilings, floors, and disinfect refrigerators.
Disassemble and assemble equipment for cleaning; operate rack/power washers, steamers, and dryers.
Report contamination concerns to a supervisor; adhere to GMP guidelines.
Understand chemical properties and proper use of cleaning solutions.
