Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods, Inc. is seeking a sanitation worker to ensure production machines, parts, and areas are cleaned and sanitized. The role supports a team environment and may require night shifts and weekend work in a refrigerated food plant, with safety procedures and LOTO compliance.

Qualifications

• Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant environment is preferred.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Work various shifts, including night shift, with some weekend work as required.
• Spanish speaking is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English is preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Follow LOTO program.
• Follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Safely clean the production facility and equipment.
• Assist coworkers and maintain a team environment.
• Verify area is ready for sanitation and production start.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble equipment as needed.
• Identify and report equipment opportunities and test machines.
• Sanitize all assigned areas thoroughly.
• Inspect equipment after cleaning and ensure readiness for production.
