Job summary

Reser’s Fine Foods in Vista, CA is seeking a sanitation worker to ensure production machines, areas, and parts are cleaned and sanitized. The role involves following safe chemical handling procedures, the LOTO program, and chemical labeling guidelines, while supporting a collaborative Team Member environment.

Typical shifts include nights and weekends as required. Compensation ranges from $18.60 to $20.60 per hour plus a $2 shift differential, with full-time benefits and opportunities for growth

Qualifications

• Experience as a sanitation worker in a food plant environment is preferred.
• High school education or equivalent is preferred.
• OSHA knowledge is preferred.
• Ability to read, write, and understand English is preferred.
• Spanish speaking is preferred.
• Basic arithmetic skills.

Responsibilities

• Must follow safe chemical handling procedures.
• Must follow LOTO program.
• Must follow chemical labeling guidelines.
• Responsible for safely cleaning the production facility and equipment.
• Willing to help co-workers and maintain a Team Member environment.
• Verify assigned area is ready for Sanitation.
• Dismantle, clean and reassemble production equipment as needed.
• Identify and report equipment opportunities after cleaning and testing.
