Job summary

Wayne-Sanderson Farms is hiring a probationary training assistant to monitor and review trainee progress in the production department. The role involves conducting job previews for hourly applicants, coordinating with supervisors and HR to schedule training, and identifying development needs.

The position requires English communication, basic computer and math skills, and a High School Diploma or equivalent. Shift hours are 4:00 PM to 1:00 AM with benefits day one and safety guidelines.

Qualifications

• Must be able to communicate in English.
• Two or more languages preferred.
• Basic computer and math skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and review employee progress through feedback meetings with supervisors and identify training needs.
• Help line leaders and supervisors solve specific training problems; in one-on-one or group settings.
• Schedule job previews for hourly applicants with HR; explain all facets of the position and requirements.
• Instruct employees about exercises to improve strength, endurance, and the early hardening process.
• Promote employee recognition within the production department.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
