Job summary

Eaton’s IS AER FED division in Rumford, RI seeks a Repair Station Technician on 2nd shift (3 pm–11 pm). You will train on 1st shift for 2–3 weeks. The role pays $31.71 per hour, with unionized facility and a 60‑day probation period.

You’ll operate presses, grinders, degreasers, and test fixtures, ensuring quality under supervision. Responsibilities include reading blueprints, using micrometers and calipers, and following process sheets to assemble and test seal assemblies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Minimum 1 year reading blueprints and using measurement tools.
• Experience with shop mathematics or related work preferred.

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate drill presses, presses, degreaser, sandblaster, grinders, and other tools per fixtures.
• Read prints and operation sheets to produce parts meeting quality targets.
• Assemble and test seal assemblies with close tolerances and document results.
