Job summary

Tyson Foods is seeking a 2nd shift Refrigeration Maintenance generalist for its Eufaula Fresh Plant in Alabama. The role involves keeping machinery running to maintain continuous refrigeration and production temperatures, with duties spanning troubleshooting and repairing ammonia refrigeration systems, boiler and water systems, pneumatics, electrical work, and some welding.

Must be able to work outdoors and indoors and handle extended shifts with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year Refrigeration/HVAC experience or enrollment in Refrigeration/HVAC training for certification.
• Must be willing to complete required skilled trades training within the required time period.

Responsibilities

• Maintain refrigeration equipment to ensure continuous refrigeration and production temperatures.
• Repair and troubleshoot refrigeration systems, boilers, water systems, pneumatics, electricity, mechanics, and some welding.
• Document daily activities and operate in outdoor and indoor environments with wide temperature ranges.
