Job summary

Michigan Turkey Producers, Wyoming, MI, is seeking a 2nd Shift Refrigeration Technician Level 4 to join the maintenance team. This hands-on role focuses on ensuring reliable operation of ammonia refrigeration and boiler systems, while coaching other technicians under the supervision of the Facilities Maintenance and Refrigeration Manager.

The ideal candidate will have 5 years of industrial refrigeration experience, familiarity with PLC/VFD controls, and proven ability to plan, perform scheduled

Qualifications

5 yrs. industrial refrigeration experience preferred; related industrial mechanical experience may be considered.
Experience with setting up/maintaining a PSM program.
Electrical troubleshooting with PLC and VFD experience.
Ability to wear PPE and follow safety protocols.

Responsibilities

Perform preventative maintenance, emergency repairs, rebuilds and projects on refrigeration, utility and facility equipment.
Respond to calls in a professional, safe, and timely manner; manage parts and replacements within budget.
Manage contracted projects from start to finish; assist Refrigeration Specialists as required; boiler operation and maintenance.
Participate in Process Safety Management (PSM) and ensure compliance with standards.
