Composition Brands in Greenville, MI is hiring a 2nd Shift Maintenance Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair production equipment and facility systems on the 2:30 p.m. – 1:00 a.m. shift.

This role partners with production, engineering, and leadership to minimize downtime and ensure safe, efficient operations. Requirements include a high school diploma or GED and at least 2 years of maintenance or facilities experience; ability to read a tape measure; strong troubleshooting skills; and

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of maintenance or facilities experience preferred.
• Experience with general building maintenance (drywall, painting, flooring, ceiling systems).
• Basic plumbing and carpentry knowledge; ability to read a tape measure.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities; safety-focused.

Responsibilities

• Perform general building and facility maintenance (flooring, epoxy, drywall, ceiling tiles).
• Conduct basic plumbing repairs and general facility upkeep.
• Assist with assembly line setup, equipment moves, and test room construction.
• Perform preventive maintenance on facility equipment and building systems.
• Respond to maintenance requests promptly to minimize downtime.
• Operate hand and power tools, ladders, lifts safely and effectively.
• Inspect facilities to identify maintenance needs and hazards.
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work environment; follow safety policies.
• Complete maintenance records and work orders; support continuous improvement.
