Job summary

PTMW Inc in Topeka, KS seeks a RBI Lead on the 2nd Shift to oversee multiple departments responsible for cutting and prepping parts for assembly and fabrication. You will plan daily activities, monitor quality, and drive continuous improvement, with a 3:00 p.m.–1:00 a.m.

shift and potential overtime on Fridays. Responsibilities include safety leadership, production target attainment, ERP documentation, and staff onboarding and coaching.

Qualifications

• Experience leading manufacturing teams in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong understanding of production processes, safety standards and quality control.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to lead and motivate a diverse team.
• Proficiency in data entry, documentation, and basic production software/tools.

Responsibilities

• Safety: Ensure self and team consistently demonstrate safe practices; participate in safety investigations and implement countermeasures.
• Quality: Inspect work in progress and completed work to meet quality standards and customer specifications.
• Production: Prepare department with parts and materials; achieve or exceed daily targets; communicate progress and issues; document work in planning software (ERP).
• Leadership: Set daily goals, onboard and train new workers, and hold team members accountable through coaching.
• Other: Maintain clean, safe work area; uphold PTMW core values; foster a supportive environment; perform other duties as assigned.
