Job summary

PTMW Inc. in Topeka, KS is seeking a PFAB Shift Lead to oversee daily shop-floor operations. You will lead a fabrication team, assign tasks, and ensure on-time production with quality and safety compliance.

The role requires leadership experience, strong communication skills, and proficiency with ERP systems and shop drawings. The shift runs 6:00pm-6:00am Thu-Sat, rotating every other Wed, with a $3 shift differential.

Qualifications

• Must have leadership or supervisory experience in fabrication or manufacturing.
• Strong ability to read shop drawings and fabrication methods.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills; problem solving critical.
• Proficient with ERP systems and basic Microsoft Office.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily fabrication team activities on the shop floor.
• Assign tasks based on priority and schedule to meet production plans.
• Ensure quality and safety standards are met; drive process improvements.
• Monitor workflow and troubleshoot issues; coordinate with management.
• Train and mentor team members in fabrication techniques and safety.
