Job summary

Qualifications

• Successful completion of the Aide Trainee program or equivalent.
• Six months of care experience with mental health or physical illness or disabilities.
• Certification as a Nurse Aide through the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assisting with daily living activities.
• Take and record vital signs, observe changes, report to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, ambulation, and escorts to activities.
• Provide basic first aid and assist during medical or psychiatric emergencies.
• Supervise and support individuals during leisure activities and nursing programs.
• Keep living spaces clean, organized, and safe.
