Qualifications

• Completion of the Aide Trainee program or equivalent qualification.
• Six months of care-related experience for individuals with mental health or physical illness.
• Certification as a Nurse Aide or Nursing Assistant through the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

Responsibilities

• Provide individual care support and assist with daily living activities.
• Monitor health by taking vital signs and reporting changes to nursing staff.
• Assist with mobility, positioning, and escorts to activities and appointments.
• Respond to emergencies with basic first aid per approved procedures.
• Supervise leisure activities and nursing programs.
• Maintain living spaces, keeping areas clean and safe.
