Job summary

Qualifications

• Active registration as a Nurse Aide in the Pennsylvania Nurse Aide Registry.
• Six months of paid experience in the care and treatment of geriatric or physically ill patients or residents.

Responsibilities

• Provide hygiene support and meet residents' physical and emotional needs.
• Assist staff with restorative programs to build independence and confidence.
• Use therapeutic communication and notify supervisors about changes in resident status.
• Help residents with meals, personal tasks, bed-making, and care of belongings.
• Escort residents to appointments and encourage participation in programs and activities.
• Attend training to strengthen job skills and improve care quality.
