Job summary

Vet's Plus is seeking a Production Supervisor to oversee day-to-day operations and ensure safety, quality, and timely production. The role includes coaching staff, coordinating across departments, and maintaining GMP/SQF compliance on the production floor.

Training will begin on 1st shift with a transition to 2nd shift once established; timing is not yet determined. Strong Excel skills and Windows Office proficiency are required.

Qualifications

• Coordinate with departments for any issues that arise.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with teams.
• Proficient in Windows Office Suite with above-average Excel skills.

Supervise day-to-day operations ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and standards. Assist in production scheduling and monitoring materials on a regular basis to meet production goals. Manage and schedule staff to meet production goals, maintain safety and quality expectations.

• Supervise and motivate the production team, ensure all policies, procedures and goals are being administered fairly and equitably.
• Work with appropriate departments for improvement of policies and procedures.
• Ensure GMP and SQF standards are maintained on the production floor, and day-to-day records and logs are completed to always be in compliance with regulatory and company standards.
• Coordinate with the appropriate departments for any issues that arise.
• Excellent organizational skills with high attention to detail.
• The ability to multi-task in multiple projects in a fast-paced environment with proven ability to work collaboratively with internal and external teams.
• Must be proficient in Windows Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), with above average Excel skills.
• Ability to think and work independently and possess strong creativity and problem-solving skills.

Education and Experience

• Previous experience in a manufacturing or warehouse setting is preferred.
