Job summary

FXI, Coldwater, MS, is seeking a Production Supervisor for the 2nd shift to lead mattress manufacturing operations. The role emphasizes safety, quality, and productivity, with direct supervision of production teams and interaction with maintenance and quality staff.

The ideal candidate will drive daily production plans, monitor performance, and implement corrective actions while maintaining a 5S and Lean-driven work environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; manufacturing leadership experience preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
• Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.
• Experience managing production teams in a fast-paced operation.

Responsibilities

• Provide safety leadership and enforce FXI safety policies on the second shift.
• Lead daily production operations to meet schedules and customer requirements.
• Ensure quality standards and document adherence to SOPs and work instructions.
• Coach and develop assigned employees; conduct shift meetings.
• Drive continuous improvement, waste reduction, and productivity gains.
• Coordinate inventory, material flow, and production reporting.
• Oversee equipment maintenance coordination and downtime reduction.
• Maintain shift logs and support audits and customer visits.
